When You Give Much
When you give much,
People abuse you.
When you give much,
People use you.
When you give much,
People disrespect you.
When you give much,
People hurt you.
When you give much,
People own you.
When you give much,
People depend on you.
When you give much,
People ruin you.
When you give much,
People test you.
When you give much,
It always seems
Like you're the one who gets
Hurt the most.
Walk away
Walk away
from people
who belittle you from the start.
Walk away
from people
who use you for their benefit.
Walk away
from people
who tattle about you when you are not around.
Walk away
from people
who are toxic, poisoning your soul.
Walk away
from pleasing people
who never consider your value.
The more you walk away from the toxicity of the world,
the more peaceful your life will be.
I Dream
I dream to become a mentor
emitting an auspicious legacy.
I dream to become a doctor
helping the department that I serve.
I dream to become a peace maker
enlightening the turbid society.
I dream to become a philosopher
guiding the next generation.
I dream to become a healer
recuperating the wounds they endure.
I dream the impossible dream;
but I dream it with His glory.
